Welcome to Retro Tees and our family of in-house clothing brands — a small, family-run UK business with a big love for nostalgia, great design and clothing that makes people smile.

We’re inspired by the unforgettable television, films, music, games, toys, sweets and everyday memories of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Remembering something you hadn’t thought about in years is a brilliant feeling. Our aim is to capture that feeling and turn it into something you’ll love wearing.

Original Designs and Officially Licensed Products

Our background is in fashion design and graphic design, so creativity, garment quality and print production are at the heart of everything we do.

Our original inspired Retro Tees artwork is created by us using traditional and digital design methods — never generated using AI. We carefully develop the layout, colours, details and print finish so that every design looks its best on the finished garment.

Many of our original designs are exclusive to Retro Tees and our in-house brands. We do not supply or authorise these designs for sale through mass-market copycat marketplaces.

Alongside our inspired retro collections, we also create and sell officially licensed garments through our other in-house brand names. We work directly with licensors and authorised partners to produce genuine, approved products featuring much-loved characters, entertainment brands and pop-culture favourites.

Officially licensed products will always be clearly identified in the product description, so you can shop knowing that the artwork has been properly approved and the relevant licence is in place.

Made to Order, Not Mass Produced

Most of our products are printed especially for you after your order has been placed.

This means we don’t keep warehouses piled high with large quantities of every design, colour and size. Printing according to demand helps us avoid holding unnecessary stock and reduces the risk of unsold clothing being overproduced or wasted.

It also means your item is freshly printed for your order — less dusty warehouse stock, more retro goodness!

A fantastic design deserves a garment that feels just as good as it looks.

We carefully select garments for their comfort, print quality and durability, using soft fabrics and dependable printing methods designed for everyday wear.

Our background in fashion helps us understand how artwork should sit on a garment, how colours work together and how to create a finished product that feels balanced rather than simply placing an image on a tee.

Making Better Choices

We care about the effect clothing can have on the environment and are always looking for ways to make more thoughtful choices.

Selected products are available in materials such as organic cotton or recycled fibres, where stated on the individual product page. Because our range includes different garment styles and printing partners, materials can vary from one product to another.

Our made-to-order approach helps reduce unnecessary stock and the risk of unsold overproduction. We also work with a network of printing partners and, whenever possible, select a suitable provider closer to the customer’s delivery location. This can help reduce delivery distances while keeping postage costs and delivery times down.

We know there is always more to learn and improve, and we would rather be open about the steps we are taking than make big, vague promises.
